Exporting Estimates into CollisionLink Shop

With a few simple steps, CollisionLink Shop can automatically import orders exported from your estimating system. 

Choose your estimating system to get started: 

Notes:

  • Instructions for ADP/Audatex ShopLink, Audatex, and Audatex Qapter can be found under the Audatex tab.
  • Instructions for both Mitchell Connect and Mitchell Estimating (UltraMate) can be found under the Mitchell tab.
  •  

    • Note: Be sure ADP/Audatex ShopLink and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

      To export estimates:

      1. Open your ShopLink estimating system. 
      2. Click to highlight the estimate you want to export. 
        1. Press CTRL while clicking estimates to select more than one at a time.
      3. Click File.

      4. Click Export Files.
      5. The Export Estimates window will open. Click OK to complete the export process.

      6. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab. 

    • Note: Be sure Audatex and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

      To export estimates:

      1. Open your Audatex estimating system. 
      2. Check the boxes next to the estimates you'd like to export.

      3. Click Export Files.
      4. A new window displays to complete the export process. Click OK. 
      5. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

    • Note: Be sure Audatex Qapter and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

      To export estimates:

      1. Log in to Audatex Qapter. 
      2. Click Work List in the left side panel to access the jobs list.

      3. Click the vertical ellipse on the right of the estimate you want to export.

      4. Click Export.

      5. Under Export Files, verify the export path matches the one configured in the CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool and click Export.

      6. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

  • Users can export estimate EMS and workfile copy files from their desktop or cccone.com.

    Notes:

    • Be sure CCC ONE and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.
    • Job numbers will only be included in your export to CollisionLink Shop if the estimate has been accepted/locked in CCC ONE prior to proceeding with the steps below.

    Click an option below to get started:

    •  
      1. Open CCC ONE. 
      2. Double-click to open the estimate that needs exported. 
      3. There are two options to export the estimate: 
        1. From the WORKFILE tab menu options, click EMS Export.
          -or-
        2. From the main menu, click File and choose Export EMS. 
      4. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.
    •  
      1. Log in to cccone.com.
      2. Open a workfile with an estimate.
      3. Click the menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
      4. Click Actions.
      5. Click Export, then click EMS Export.

  • Note: Be sure Comp-Est and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

    To export estimates:

    1. Open Comp-Est.

    2. Double-click the estimate you would like to export. 
    3. From the Communications menu option, choose EMS, then Export Estimate.

    4. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

    • Note: Be sure Mitchell Connect and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

      To export estimates:

      1. Log in to Mitchell Connect.
      2. Click Jobs from the left side panel. 
      3. Click the job the estimate was written for. 
      4. Click the estimate tile.

      5. Choose Export EMS from the Export EMS drop-down.

        1. If you do not see this option, click Preview to access this option.

      6. A temporary notification displays, confirming the export was successful. 
      7. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimate, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

    • Note: Be sure Mitchell Estimating (UltraMate) and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

      To export estimates:

      1. Open Mitchell UltraMate and open the estimate that needs exported. 
      2. Click File and choose Save EMS.

        1. Note: Mitchell UltraMate also creates an EMS export any time you calculate and save an estimate.
      3. At the bottom of the window, a Successfully Exported message displays when the export is complete.

      4. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

    To export estimates:

    1. Open the estimate within NexConnex. 
    2. Click Purchases.

    3. The Purchases Assistant window displays. Click to highlight the parts that need to be ordered.

    4. Click Order.
    5. The Order Purchases window displays. Use the Vendor Name drop-down to select the vendor.

    6. Click Order.
    7. The Print/Fax/E-Mail window displays. Click Process.

    8. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

  • Note: Be sure Shop Manager (ABS 8) and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates.

    To export estimates:

    1. Open Shop Manager. 
    2. Click the Parts Lines tab. Only parts with a status of ORD will be exported.

    3. Click Print.
    4. Choose a Vendor and a PO for the order.

    5. Click Print.
    6. When the report opens, click Export Report.

    7. Choose Separated Values (CSV) from the Format drop-down. Click OK.

    8. Check the Same number formats as in report and Same date formats as in report boxes. Click OK.

    9. The Choose Export File window shows the report being saved in the user's My Documents folder. Click Save to export the file.

    10. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

    • To export estimates using the auto-unzip feature:
      1. Open Web-Est and open the estimate to export. 
      2. Click Print from the top toolbar.

      3. Choose EMS from the report list.

      4. Click Download to send the estimate to CollisionLink Shop. (This may take a few moments.)

      5. When finished, a success message will display. Shortly after, the estimate will appear in CollisionLink Shop to be processed.

    • To export estimates:

      1. Open Web-Est and open the estimate to export. 
      2. Click Print from the top toolbar.

      3. The Email Estimate Form displays. Click EMS.
      4. Click Generate.

      5. The generated file opens via the browser install.

      6. When the download is finished, the record's View/Download status displays.

        1. If using Microsoft Edge: Click Open file when the pop-up displays. 
        2. If using Google Chrome: A prompt displays at the bottom of the browser window, showing the downloaded file's name. Click the arrow to the right and click Open.
      7. The contents of the .zip file display in Windows Explorer or another program that handles .zip files. Click Extract all files.

        1. Note for Intuit QuickBooks Users: If a warning message appears about opening a QuickBooks file, first save the .zip file to your computer and then extract the files. (See Appendix A below for details.)
      8. Click Browse and navigate to the EMS Export folder you specified in the Estimate Uploader Tool.

      9. Uncheck the Show extracted files when complete box. 
      10. Click Extract. The Extract window will close when finished. 
      11. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab.

      Appendix A: For QuickBooks Users

      If a warning message displays about opening a QuickBooks file, first save the .zip file to your computer and then extract the files.

      1. After clicking Download in the EMS 2.6 Export window, the File Download window displays. Click Save.

      2. Locate the folder you specified in the Estimate Uploader Tool and click Save to save the .zip file. 
      3. Using Windows Explorer, locate the folder where you saved the .zip file.

      4. Right-click on the file, click Open With, and choose Compressed (zipped) Folders.
      5. The contents of the .zip file will display. Click Extract all files.

      6. Click Next on the Extraction Wizard window.

      7. Click Browse and navigate to the folder you specified in the Estimate Uploader Tool. Click Next to add the EMS files to this location.

      8. The Extraction Complete window will display when finished. Click Finish to close the window.

      9. The CollisionLink Estimate Uploader Tool (EUT) will detect and upload your estimates, using the data to create orders in CollisionLink Shop. Log in to CollisionLink Shop to review and submit your imported orders on the Unsent Orders tab. 

    Notes:

    • Be sure Web-Est and the Estimate Uploader Tool are set up before exporting estimates. 
    • Web-Est users must have export functionality to send transactions to CollisionLink Shop. If the shop does not have this, they will be directed to purchase the EMS Communications package in the application. Once enabled, the setup process can be completed as outlined. Exporting will function correctly once this package is added.
